Harlem Wizards Rocked the Bay Shore High School

On October 30^th, a day before Halloween, Harlem Wizards came to Bay Shore High School. The Harlem Wizards thrilled the crowd with tricks, hoops, and alley oops! Between the volunteers, students, parents, teachers, staff and community members close to 500 people came to see Bay Shore Dream Team’s Coach Stasia “Spike it Like it’s Hot” Debonis, Mr. Steve “The Incident” Gordon, Mr. Bryan “Buckets” Shuster and Dr. “J” Lemke to name a few, play against the Wizards.

South Country, Gardiner Manor, Brook Ave., 5th Ave, Mary G. Clarkson schools, High School and Middle School staff were no match for Harlem Wizards. Apart from that, not only did ‘The ‘Dream Team‘ score some buckets but also finished the game with the most important statistic…0 INJURIES!

Since 1962, the Wizards have helped organizations like ours create fundraisers that exceeded expectations. They are a family business and were passionate about giving our community a world-class, laugh-a-minute, high-flying, interactive show on a basketball court. It was a superb day.
