Health, Safety and Wellness Fair at Bay Shore H.S.

On April 4th, 2019 Bay Shore Wellness Alliance teamed up with graduate student Matthew Votta for a Health, Safety and Wellness Fair. Matt was able to bring in over 17 local businesses including Suffolk Police Department, National Guard as well as Bay Shore Fire Department together at the Bay Shore High School to educate our students about Health, Safety and Wellness.

The purpose of the health, safety and wellness fair was to create an educational and interactive event designed for outreach to provide basic information and awareness to Bay Shore High School students. In conjunction with Military, Police Department and Bay Shore Fire Department high school students and staff had an opportunity to gain information and knowledge on the safety and various physical activity opportunities in or near our community.

We would like to extend our gratitude to all local business and organizations who volunteered their time. Your efforts are always greatly appreciated.
