Color Splash Elementary Run 6/2021

After a year and a half of COVID19, where our precious time to learn, interact, socialize, play, be curious and live was taken away from us in big ways and small. Finally, M.G.C. was able to put a color splash fun run together for their students.

Over 350 participants, from grades K through 2, participated and the weather was spectacular for what our students needed! The goal of the Color Splash Run, was to promote physical activity and wellness. Our Bay Shore students certainly displayed much enthusiasm as they circled the M.G.C. school, with their white shirts splashed with many colors. This event had no winners or prizes, but runners were showered with colored powder at six stations along the run. It was awesome!

We would like to thank the M.G.C. P.E. teachers and staff for superb job putting the event together. Super special thanks to Mr. Bob Panariello, Principal Letty Garcia and the Administration and Board of Education for Bay Shore Schools for their continued support of physical education and physical activity.

Sincerely,
Mariusz and Kathleen
