South Country School celebrates Kindness Week
On Tuesday June 11th, 2019 Bay Shore Wellness Alliance and South Country Elementary School teamed up to celebrate ‘Kindness Week’. Close to 500 students, parents, teachers, staff and community members took part in South Country Color Splash Kindness Run. It was absolutely fantastic to see waives of people celebrating kindness. The school incorporated messages about choosing kindness and accepting those who are different from us into daily activities.
Teamwork makes a dream work… due to our mutual involvement and help, South Country School was able to donate over $4,000 to the Children’s Craniofacial Association. We are humbled and honored.
The Bay Shore Wellness Alliance is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting, educating, and involving all children in achieving optimal wellness within a healthy learning environment.
